Uh, what just happened???

So here I was, getting ready for a nice quiet month. I was going to work on finishing Firstborn’s Curse, maybe polish off a couple of short stories. A nice, peaceful month…

..and then…

I don’t want to sound like I’m complaining here, mind you, but all of a sudden I find myself riding herd on four simultaneous audiobook productions over at Tuscany Bay Books. Honestly, I figured it would take all month to audition for the four, get everything set up and probably start production at the beginning of April.

Yeah, so much for the best laid plans of men, at least this one anyway. The last time we ran auditions we couldn’t find anyone. This was last year. But we decided to give it a go again this week and wow, did we get results.

Two of my books, and two more by Declan Finn, landed narrators and are currently in production with 72 hours of them being posted. Like I said earlier, wow.

Lawrence Sonderling is taking over the Starquest 4th Age series narration from Dan Ryan with Galen’s Blade and will continue on as long as I keep producing books in the series.

Eve Hamilton is making her audiobook narration debut with the Timeless series. She has already begun work on The Timeless and will start in on Secret of the Sphinx immediately after. I’ll be needing to write the final four books in that novella series soon as well. She is really doing a great job at bringing Little John Singapore to life.

The other two audiobooks are from Declan Finn’s White Ops and St. Tommy NYPD series.

Kevin Goff will be helming the entire White Ops series and has begin work on the first book in the series.

Ash Kelley will be working on the entire St. Tommy series, including the novellas, and has started on Hell Spawn.

They’ll be sending me each chapter to review and approve until the finished product is uploaded and ready for purchase.

Oh yeah, March just got mighty interesting up in here.

Who knows, maybe I can find a minute or two here and there to get some writing done.
