As 2022 Ends, Getting Ready For 2023
And it starts with a new way to stay in touch with you, my readers.
As another year winds down, I reviewed not only what had happened in 2022, but how this entire decade has played out, and decided to make a few changes going forward in 2023.
Starting with moving my newsletter over here to Substack from Mailchimp and combining it with my old blog from my website. You’ll still get notifications in your inbox, and I hope you’ll stay subscribed because there’s a lot coming in 2023 that I think you’ll be excited to hear about.
But instead of trying to create content in two different mediums I’ll be able to focus on just this one. Which frees me up for creating video content that will be showing up on my Instagram and TikTok accounts. If you don’t already, please follow them here (Instagram) and (TikTok) and my Twitter account is worth a follow too if you’re there. I think you’ll find it worth you’re while.
As for 2023, now that things are settling down at Tuscany Bay Books and we have our publishing schedule set well into 2024, I have finally been able to focus on getting back to my own writing.
Which means a return to the Starquest universe in both the 4th Age with Galen Dwyn (Galen’s Heart) and the pre-migration history of his ancestor, Galen Underwood (Ranger). I’m also finishing up two other long-delayed projects.
Seadragon, the comic book series I was lead writer for back in the mid-1980s, will appear as a novel in 2023. And I’m getting back into Christian science fiction/fantasy with, Firstborn’s Curse. These four novels will be out in 2023 and if things go right, I might get another one or two out in addition to those by the time the years over.
Needless to say, I’m excited about 2023 both for myself and for Tuscany Bay Books. I hope you’ll stick around for the ride. I guarantee you it will be anything but boring.
Have a Happy Holiday and I’ll see you on the other side in 2023!
Welcome to Substack! It's great to have you aboard!
